Start your day with breakfast at your hotel before meeting our expert local guide for a tour of fascinating Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, you'll see the influences of many cultures over the centuries. Your guide will first take you to the vibrant market, filled with exotic smells and bustling with bartering locals. Next, visit the serene 19th-century cathedral, built on the former site of the slave market after the 1873 abolition of slavery. As you wander the narrow streets, you'll pass Arab houses with inner courtyards hidden behind heavy doors and Indian residences adorned with balustrades and metal railings. Historic sites you'll see include the 'Tip Tip House,' the Old Fort, and the People’s Palace Museum.

Enjoy lunch at the Silk Route Indian rooftop restaurant, which offers stunning ocean views and excellent cuisine. Afterwards, we will transfer you safely back to the airport for your flight.
